Read more and call your mom! ~ Shannon FARM UPDATE I'm learning to milk the goats! We've had the goats for about 7 months now and last week one of the babies left on his new life as a spoiled pet. That left his mother, Brownie, still producing a little milk but feeding no one. It could have been a problem so we decided to try milking her by hand. After one day I had to admit that the arthritis in my hands wouldn't hold up to two sessions a day. Now we have an electric milker and Brownie has tripled her milk production and loves all the treats.
