This week has been warm, windy outside and a strange mix of calm and crazy busy. I'm still doing my best to take  care of hubby, but fortunately he's recovering well. I am reminded once more that I'm not great at the housewife gig. Capable enough to keep us alive, but not much more than that. Fall always gives me a sense of urgency. Every sunny day means working outside as much as possible. I mowed, mowed and mowed some more. So much mowing. But the only part still in serious need is the field that is supposed to be grazed down by the pony and goats. They are not holding up their job, but one good mow should make it more manageable until spring. Yesterday I sent out an ARC invitation for Vali's Curse.
