Beyond Romance

March 31, 2025

Hello all my peeps and pups.

We made it to the end of March. Endured the lion and cuddled the lamb. While in the trenches it felt like a crawl but now it seems to have just flashed by. Isn't that how time works?

We had some big news at the farm this week. Emu egg number 9 managed to safely hatch on Friday. We're still struggling with finding the right name for the cute little bugger. I think I'll open it up to my readers for some suggestions. If you have an idea for a good name, and want to reach out and share it, you can email me at lshannon@hotmail.com, reply to my facebook post, comment on the blog. As a thank you for the suggestions, I'll pick one reader to get a free eBook of your choice.

Read more and hug something fluffy!

My own version of a safari. Let me share my "March Lion" with you. This is Toofus, one of our very spoiled barn cats. He's adorable and not great at hunting.

Demons Gone Wild: The Wysh

All the wrong choices, for all the right reasons.

Lindsey Hamilton – A male author writing spicy romance to provide for his little brother.

All he wanted was a way to pay the bills between his late royalties. All he needed was a miracle.

Wysh AKA Scott Wysh – a demon living in hiding among humans.

Even if he found safety pretending to be a human, it wasn’t enough. He still had needs that demanded satisfaction.

The deal – If you are willing to meet with me, please come alone to the lookout between Lake Sweetness and the north bend of Forever Lane. I’ll be waiting tonight at midnight.

Despite knowing the guy will probably be a stalker pervert who thinks he's the woman shown on the back of his books, Lin still goes to the midnight meeting. What he finds is a ridiculously sexy demon asking for his blood in exchange for enough cash to fix Lin's lacking finances. Lin's just not sure how much of himself he can give up for the money. His blood? His body? His heart? The decision could change his life forever.

The Wysh is a stand-alone, m/m novella with its only HEA. The story features a surprise “gay for you” love story based on mutual need and unexpected affection. First person, past tense. Perfect for readers who love a snarky hero who is willing to take risks to protect what matters, and a macho alpha who can cast aside his dignity for a chance at something magical.
