I woke up this morning and had to find a coat to wear to the barn. The fog in the valley and the nip in the air whispered a quiet truth. Fall has arrived and winter is creeping ever closer. Of course this means my to-do list just jumped into overdrive. It's time to think about winterizing the farm, and shutting down the incubators for a bit. One of the last rounds of eggs will be hatching week. I still have one more round planned and then I can unplug it all for the winter. Of course when talking about weather, our hearts all go out to the folks who are dealing with the apocalyptic versions we seem to see lately. I encourage everyone to reach out in big or small ways and offer what help you can. even just positive words and support may change someone's world. On the book front... I'm continuing my work on the Amethyst trilogy and super excited about how it's coming along.  And I have a couple more side projects I hope I can have ready in time for Halloween and Thanksgiving.
